Looks like "Mrs. Brady", aka Florence Henerson, is making some waves with her recent comments about Christopher Knight's marriage to Adrianne Curry, America's Next Top Model winner from cycle one. Knight and Curry met on the VH1 reality show The Surreal Life and their relationship was followed through their own reality show entitled, "My Fair Brady."

From People: Florence Henderson says that while her former TV son Christopher Knight has lived his life in front of the cameras the past few years, "reality [TV] is not for me."

"It's a double-edged sword," Henderson said of shedding an iconic role. Henderson, 74, spoke to reporters on Tuesday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Los Angeles, where she was promoting her upcoming Hallmark Channel film Ladies of the House.

"It can be difficult to move on," said the former Brady Brunch mom. "Christopher Knight is like my son and he was very involved with this person on The Surreal Life," she says referring to model Adrianne Curry. "He asked me to counsel them – I am a certified hypnotherapist – but I didn't really want to do reality TV."

Henderson appeared on the couple's VH1 show My Fair Brady, which she says seemed to steer the couple into an engagement. "They didn't take my advice at all! And as you may have seen, they did get engaged and they did get married," she says. "Maybe I will counsel the divorce."

If these articles accurate, I would be deeply saddened that she sunk to this kind of level… I was always under the impression that good christian people didn't pass judgement on others. Given her reputation, I only expected a warm hearted sweet woman when I met her. Instead, I met someone who did not try to get to know me at all. We only hung out, ON CAMERA, for less than a half hour. She has no clue who I am, which is why this wouldn't make any sense. Plus, Chris told me she was only hamming it up for cameras and that she didn't feel that way.

I expect more class from a woman like her. If she tried to sling mud at me, she has shown a lack of respect for my husband as well. Sounds like someone is trying to stir shit for publicity for her tv movie.

Crossing my fingers and hoping this is a crock of shit

Florence was NEVER invited to come counsel us!.If she would have walked in our home expecting me to sit down for a session, I would have laughed and left. I go to doctors that go to college for years in order to treat me. Mental health is no joke. If she doesn't like reality tv much, she sure spent a lot of time on it. Didn't she do an entire season of The Surreal Life? Absurd! Our marriage is 100% real, and the only person pushing my hubby to marry me was ME. He is a grown man, not a 12 year old child, and makes his own decisions in life. Our contract with My Fair Brady is over, and we are slated to do NO more seasons. So riddle me this, why would we still be married? Absolute garbage, all of it.

As a reality tv show addict myself, I can say, 'yes, Florence Henderson did indeed do an entire season of The Surreal Life". Although Henderson didn't live in the house she was a 'cast member', in the opening credits and was involved in all the activities that went on with the reality show.

Notice how Henderson doesn't even 'speak' Adrienne's name, but refers to her as 'that person' in her statement. That's exactly how she treated her when she 'appeared' on their reality show, "My Fair Brady". I was amazed at how dismissive and cold she was towards Adrienne.

Anyway, the point is, Florence Henderson may say reality tv is not for her, but her resume speaks differently and the reality show "Florence" is much different than the warm, sweet, caring persona we all came to know and love many, many, many years ago.

Update--Adrienne posted a new blog forgiving Florence Henderson:

"I forgive Florence...

She may not be asking for it, but I am going to give it to her. I am sorry she is acting this way, and am a little embarrassed for her. I was nothing but nice to her when we met, and she had it out for me before I said a word. I even hope her tv movie does well, since she is so desperate to generate attention for it. I pray she has the right mind to at least give my husband a call and apologize to HIM. She disrespected him and hurt him in her attempt for attention. If she loves him as much as she says, I know she will do the right thing. I wish this could have worked out better. Lord knows I tried to connect with "this person", but it is obvious that it was never meant to be. I just wish she could be more professional about this. It's weird to have someone on the level of Mr Rogers and Barney hate you. I must be the bad child ; )


So, let her talk. She doesn't know me, doesn't speak to Chris EVER, and has no idea what our life is like with each other. She is allowed to have her opinion, even make up lies about us. I just wish she had the grace and dignity to keep it to herself. I'm moving on wih my life and not giving this another thought.
