Jason Castro fans may be happy to hear his brother, Michael, auditioned for American Idol this season. Auditioning in Kansas City, Michael told Fox 59,

“When I first told [Jason], he thought I was joking,” Michael said with a chuckle. “He was like, ‘Don’t go make a fool out of yourself. You’re not gonna take it seriously.’ ”

What's Jason think of his brother auditioning?

“He’d always outdo me,” Jason told Fox News reporter Jonathan Hunt of his brother Michael, “Hold notes longer, hit higher notes, and I was always like, 'How do you do that?' Whatever!”
