American Idol's Jennifer Hudson has been through an incredibly traumatic experience losing her Mom, brother and nephew in a fatal shooting not long ago. Understandably, she has been staying out of the public eye and keeping a low profile. Hudson recently reached out though on her myspace blog to express her gratitude for the support she's been shown:

"I want to thank each and every one of you for your thoughts and prayers during
this difficult time. My sister and I take great comfort and strength from your
love and concern.jhud"

No one has been officially charged yet in the murders.
